Micro Needling

Micro-needling is a safe and effective anti-aging treatment that stimulates your skin to increase collagen production to repair itself. It helps with the treatment of a number of skin imperfections, including fine lines, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and stretch marks, therefore resulting in improved, younger-looking skin.

First, a layer of medical grade solution is applied to the skin, then a micro-pen with a sterile tip containing many fine needles is glided along the entire treatment area. The appropriate pen setting is dependent on each individual. When the micro-pen is applied, it feels similar to a light sandpaper being moved across the skin. Although this may cause some discomfort, a post-treatment hydrating gel is applied to soothe any irritation. The procedure takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area of treatment.

After treatment, the skin may be slightly red, depending on each individual, although total healing time will not exceed 7 days. Results can be seen after approximately 7 days.
